WOODWARD PUBLISHING WORKS FOR YOU

WOODWARD PUBLISHING INC.is an independent, 100% Canadian privately owned and operated, full-colour, monthly publication that focuses on the trucking industry. We have been in business for over six years. Beginning with the June 2008 issue, Ontario Trucking News launched two sister publications called Western Trucking News (serving Manitoba to BC., NWT and the Yukon and Eastern Trucking News (serving Quebec and the Maritimes). Together with Ontario Trucking News, we offer "Coast to Coast" coverage both in print and on the internet.

Barb Woodward is the Owner and President who has over 12 years experience in publishing with the past six years in the trucking industry. Barb became sole owner in September 2005. With a vision to grow and prosper, Barb saw there was a need to make a lot of changes to both the publication and the web site. Barb also felt it was important to support such groups as the Ontario Truck Driving Championships, the A.T.S.S.A. and Child Find.

There have been many changes over the years. In February 2003 Ontario Trucking News began with a circulation of 7,500 copies. In 2005 distribution was increased to 15,000 copies. Now together with our sister publications we offer a total distribution of 30,000 copies. In January 2006 Ontario Trucking News partnered with Traction/Truck Pro. Traction/TruckPro currently have 39 stores across Ontario who display our publications. In February 2009 we added 48 Traction/TruckPro stores to our Western Canada distribution along with all major truck stops in Western Canada. Our Eastern distribution began in January of 2006 in Quebec and in January 2007 we began distributing totruck stops in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
